I loved reading Nancy Drew when I was younger and think it started my incurable love of mysteries. New or old, I can’t get enough!

I just updated www.BargainHomeInFlorida.com and there are single family homes less then $50,000 in the Orlando area and single family homes less then $300,000 in Celebration, Florida. WOW this is huge for anyone wanting to move into the area….Also the foreclosure deals are GREAT under the Foreclosure link.

Just got back from our town’s annual 4th of July Parade. It was wonderful. The little children dancing, doing karate and gymnastics, the church groups of all ages and our grand marshall, Marge Kinser who is going to be 101 in August. What a great town!

Informal Survey – Central Florida Realtors see upswing

While attending a 2 day Real Estate class this week, the instructor took a survey of who has sold homes in May and we were all surprised at the amount of Realtors who have just sold homes. The market is starting to show us Good News.

Community Storehouse in Keller, Texas

They have started Summer Reading program called “Camp Community Storehouse” and are looking for volunteers to help. If I lived closer, I would be there!!! Hope they get a LOT of volunteers to help with this program..to volunteer or see more info..

Movie time in Downtown Celebration, FL

Went to see Star Trek the movie today in Celebration’s AMC movie theater. It is great to walk to a movie, enjoy the show.(it was very entertaining espeically for a “trekkie” (me)) and have an ice cream(at Kilwins) while watching children playing in the fountain. Now, out for a bike ride on the trails here in town…have to work off the ice cream!

Homes at a great price

I showed a home today here in Celebration that has recently come on the market. The price was incredible. A single family home with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths for only $269,900. There was even a 2 car garage and nice side yard. When I see homes like this one, I am encouraged because we have affordable homes in a great location and that can only lead to a housing come back.

Lovely evening here in Celebration. The jasmine in my yard and the neighboring yards smells wonderful. We need rain, but you can’t complain about 85 degrees and sunny.
